Feeders & Localities Under Maintenance
Power supply from the following 11kV feeders will remain suspended between 08:30 AM and 01:30 PM:
- Rawalpindi Cantt Circle: Westridge-1, Westridge-2, Peshawar Road, Charing Cross, Marble Factory Area, Koh-e-Noor Mills, Dhok Hassu feeders.
- Islamabad Circle: Nilore, Lehtrar Road, Tarlai Kalan, Alipur Farash, Farash Town Phase 1 & 2, PIMS Hospital emergency standby backup lines testing.
- Attock Circle: Hassan Abdal Urban, Cadet College Hassan Abdal feeder, Burhan, Sanjwal Cantonment grid connections.
- Chakwal Circle: Kallar Kahar, Choa Saidan Shah, Munara feeder, Dandot Cement industrial feeders.
Why Scheduled Outages Occur
IESCO distribution engineers carry out preventive maintenance to ensure high network reliability during upcoming high-demand seasons. Routine tasks include replacing worn porcelain insulators, re-tensioning overhead conductors, and replacing overloaded transformer jumpers.
