IESCO New Connection Application & Tracking Guide

Complete walkthrough for requesting a new residential, commercial, or agricultural electricity meter connection with IESCO, paying your Demand Notice fee, and tracking your application status online.

1. How to Apply Online for an IESCO New Meter Connection

New electricity connections across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum are processed through the centralized Electricity New Connection (ENC) System operated by PITC. Consumers no longer need to submit manual paper forms at sub-division offices.

Step 1: Document Preparation

Required Documents

  • Attested copy of Applicant CNIC.
  • Proof of Property Ownership (Registry / Allotment Letter / Fard).
  • Copy of Neighbor's IESCO Bill Reference Number.
  • Wiring Test Report from an authorized Electric Contractor.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) if property is rented.
Step 2: Online Submission

ENC Web Application

Fill out the form on the official ENC portal. Select "IESCO" as your DISCO, choose connection category (Single Phase 15A/230V or 3-Phase 400V), and upload scanned copies of your documents.

2. What is an IESCO Demand Notice & Fee Payment

After your application is submitted, an IESCO field surveyor inspects your property location and approves the technical feasibility. Once approved, IESCO issues a Demand Notice.

  • Security Deposit: Standard refundable security charge per kW of sanctioned load.
  • Service Material Charges: Cost of service wire, main drop cable, service drop accessories, and meter equipment.
  • Payment Methods: Demand notices can be paid at authorized bank branches (NBP, HBL, UBL, ABL) or via online banking apps under 1Bill utility payments. Learn more on our Payment Methods Guide.
